.Services for Charles Snbo Sr., 75. of 6fil8 Delaware Ave., Hammond will be nt 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Virgil Huber Funeral Home, 7051 Kennedy Ave., Hammond. The Rev. Arpad Beretz of the United Church of Christ, East Chicago, will officiate. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Hammond. Mr. Sabo died at his home Sun day. He is survived by his son Charles Jr. of Hammond; four daughters, Mrs. Agnes Papp of Colton, Calif.; Miss Rose Evans Miss Betty Sabo and Mrs. Goldie Szypkowski, all of Hammond; sister, Mrs. Lydia Fodor of Ham mond. There are seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Merger CHICAGO AP - A federal judge ordered today a new vote among stockholders of the Rock Island Railroad on merger with the Union Pacific Railroad. Judge Julius Hoffman of U.S. District Court also ordered a new solicitation of proxies and banned any meeting of stockholders for the purpose of approving any merger within the next 60 days. THE RULING applies to the Rock Island Railroad, the Chicago and Northwestern Railway and the Union Pacific Railroad. 5 Killed
