Duhon of Munster "on July 7 in Milwaukee, has been honored with three pre-nuptial parties. The first was hosted by the future groom's mother and sister, Mrs. Michael Duhon and Miss Peggy Duhon, of 8254 Parkview, Munster.

A Patricia Hill -Is Engaged to Louis Szekely Jr. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey V. Hill of 6546 Alabama Ave, Hammond, announce the engagement of their daughter, Patricia Ann, to Louis Szekely Jr, son of Mr.

and Mrs. Louis Szekely Sr, of 3316 Black Oak Rd, Hammond. Miss Hill graduated from Morton High School and is attending Felt and Tarrant Comptometry School. Mr. Szekely is employed iy Inland Steel.

B. Hill of 1030 Eaton Hammond, are their daughter and grandson, Mrs. James V. Reed and Vaughn of Silver Springs, Md. They will visit here for several weeks and will also be the guests of Mrs.

Christening Party Held For Infant of Mr. and Mrs. Gleim Kathy Marie was the name given the infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Gleim, 18006 Arcadia Ave, Lansing, when she was christened June 24 hi St.

John "Lutheran Church in Lansing. A dinner party in honor of the baby's christening and the birthday of her brother, David William, was held in the Gleim home, after the church ceremony. A full length gown of lace and nylon tulle over satin was worn by the bride, who was given in marriage by her father. The lace bodice featured an illusion neckline and long pointed sleeves. Mrs. Theodor Rosengren and Mrs. Rita Nelson, both of Kenosha, and close friends of the bride-elect's family, entertained with a personal shower Tuesday in Kenosha.

Included in the guests were several of Miss Gabrielson's relatives and family friends. Another personal shower was held Wednesday in Milwaukee and hosted by Miss Carol Jeli-nek, who will be maid of honor at the wedding. A luncheon was served and guests included the bride-to-be's mother and sister, Mrs. L. H.

Feted At Pre-Xuptial Events Miss Mary Lou Reedy, whose marriage to Dr. David Ahlering of Highland will take place on Saturday, has been honored with several pre-nuptial parties and dinners.

Dr. and Mrs. Louis River, godparents of the bride, are giving the rehearsal dinner this evening. Mrs. Harold O'Connell entertained yesterday with a luncheon and swimming party at the Oak Park Country Club for the bridal party.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry F. Woulfe of River Forest, 111., feted the bridal couple with a cocktail party on June 18. A luncheon was given for 25 at the Camellia House in the Drake Hotel by two of the bridesmaids, Misses Alice Quinn and Jackie Reeb.

Smith entertained with a bridal dinner for their daughter and her attendants at an area restaurant preceding the dress rehearsal. Twenty guests were present. The couple presented their gifts for their attendants at this time. Open House Will Follow Karmer-Kooi Wedding Saturday Mr. and Mrs.

E. H. Karmer Jr. of 497 Gordon Calumet City, are announcing that their daughter, Ruth Joyce, will be married to Bert Kooi Jr. on Saturday.

and Mrs. Anthony Beison Celebrate 25th Wedding Date Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Beison of 5034 Walsh East Chicago, celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary this past Saturday with a party for over 100 guests in the American Legion home in East Chicago. The actual date of the anniversary is June 30, but since one son, Robert, who is stationed at Fort Sill, could arrange a furlough last week, the Beisons decided to observe the occasion then.

They have another son, Richard, who is a sophomore in the Medical School of Indiana University. A large tiered wedding cake centered the refreshment table. Mrs. D. A.

Bethea Elected State President of Auxiliary Mrs. D. A. Bethea of Hammond, was elected state president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Hoosier State Medical Association. The group held its annual session recently at the Young Women's Christian Association in Gary.

Mrs. Steinberg Is Hostess To Visitors From Pittsburgh Hostess at a luncheon held recently at her home was Mrs. D. E. Steinberg, 17745 Wentworth Lansing.

Corliss Allen Beck, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Beck, 6330 Moraine St, Hammond, spent a few days with his parents after returning from a special assignment for the Army pictorial films department in Huntsville, Ala. He left Wednesday for Long Island City, N.Y, where he is stationed, and will soon leave New York to go on assignment in Washington, D.C. Miss Sue Strasberg of Scherer-ville, and Mrs.

Beck accompanied Pvt Beck to New York. Miss Strasberg will visit her aunt for two weeks, at which time both she and Mrs. Beck will return to Hammond. Mr. and Mrs.
