age 55 of Valparaiso, formerly of Hammond, passed away on Sunday, ADril 15. 1990. Survivors: one DEMSKI, JOHN P. Demski, John P. age 78 of Calumet City, Illinois passed away Monday, April 16, 1990 at the Lakeside V.

A. Hospital, Chicago. Survivors: wife, Ber-nice; daughter, Mary Jo (Martin McCarthy of Lowell; sister, Stella Demski of Calumet City, Illinois; grandson, Kevin McCarthy; and granddaughter, Beth McCarthy. Preceded in death by his brothers, Anthony and Eugene. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 20, 1990 at 9 a.m.

SOMENZI, CATHERINE D. Somenzi, Catherine D. age 23 of Munster, Indiana passed away Monday, April 16, 1990 due to an automobile accident. She is survived by her loving parents, Janet and Kenneth Somenzi; three sisters, Patty (Virgil), Debbie and Laura; two brothers, Bill (Lora) and Mark Somenzi; maternal grandmother, Lillian Neiner of Hammond; paternal grandparents, Mary and Fred Somenzi of Highland, Indiana; five dear nephews, Michael, Kenny, Nicholas, Anthony and Patrick; aunt and uncle, Nancy and Bill Gauthier; loving cousins; great aunts and uncles; many dear friends; and special friend, Jesse Neal. Funeral services will be held at the Burns-Kish Funeral Home, 8415 Calumet Munster on Friday, 10:30 a.m.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas More Church at 1 1 a.m., Msgr. Carl Mengeling celebrating the Mass. Burial will take place at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 2 to 9 p.m.

The Holy Rosary will be prayed at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Cathy was a 1985 graduate of Munster High School; she was to graduate in two weeks from Ball State University with a Degree in Exercise Science; and was doing her internship at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis. She was a three year member of the Munster High School Swim Team, and a four year member of the Ball State Swim Team and was co-captain of the team at both schools.

She was a member of St. Thomas More Church. STIVERS, VERNA Stivers, Verna age 85 of Merrillville passed away Monday, April 16, 1990. Survivors: one son, Harold (Mary) Stivers of Griffith; one daughter, Jean (Tom) Berry of Lafayette; four grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; four brothers, Harley (Clara) Ladlie, George (Oma) Ladlie, Henry (Myrne) Ladlie and Earl (Florine) Ladlie -all of Minnesota.
