The Vidette-Messenger, Ray Plymire KOUTS Ray M. Plymire, 63, of Rt. 2, died Sunday morning at Hines Veterans Hospital in Illinois after a five-month illness. Born in Manville, Ill, Aug. 22, 1909, he resided in the Kouts area for four years and was employed as a farm hand.

He was a veteran of World War II. Surviving are two brothers, Ronald of Streator, and Lavone of Fort Worth, Tex. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Kosanke Brothers Funeral Home with the Rev. Clarence Nelson officiating.

Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today. Peter D. Lindsay HEBRON Private graveside services for Peter Dewitt Lindsay, 17, who died at his home Saturday, were held at 11 a.m.

Wilford (Lois) Burklow, all of Portage; a son, Richard of Florida; eight grandchildren; nine greatgrandchildren; and one greatgreat granddaughter. Friends may call until 10 p.m. today at Olson Frum Portage, Chapel. The body will be transferred to Gibbon's Funeral Home, Harrisburg, which is in charge of services at Mount Calvary Baptist Church, Gaskin City, Ill. The Rev.

W.P. Parrish will officiate. Burial will be in Wallace Cemetery, Herod, Ill. Mrs. Sullivan's Rites PORTAGE Services were held today at Olson Frum Portage Chapel and Nativity of Our Savior Church for Mrs.

Leo (Florence Sullivan, 77, of 2947 Willowdale, who died Thursday at Gary Mercy Hospital. The Rev. Carl Mengeling officiated. Burial was in 1 Calvary Cemetery, Formerly of Gary, where she was employed for 20 years as a. salesclerk with Goldblatt's, she resided here for a year.

She was a member of Nativity Church, the Ladies Sodality of the church and the Senior Citizens. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. James (Patricia) Bowles, Portage, and Mrs. John (Margaret) Pasa, Merrillville; three sons, Thomas, San Francisco, John of Danville, and Charles of Merrillville; 26 grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo, a daughter, Gerrie Ramage, and a son, David.

He was a member of the Portage United Pentecostal Church and was employed as manager of Gene's Sunoco Service Station. Surviving are his widow, Sandra; two daughters, Hea- ther and Valerie, both at home; his mother, Mrs. Jean Hamby, Chula Vista, three sisters, Shirley Lazar, East Gary, Mrs. Bob (Carolyn) Bailey, Huntington, and Patricia Hamby, California; and a brother, Herbert Hamby, Chicago. He was preceded in death by a son, Vernon J.

Jr. in 1966. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Portage United Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Robert E.
